When did you start your website and why?

In the year 2000 to start International Student Recruitment from India for colleges in the United States, Canada, UK, Australia & New Zealand.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Campus Landing recruits quality students from all over the globe. Our mission is simply to promote diversity on college/university campuses in the United States, Europe, and Australia and to promote the value of higher education in ALL lands.

Campus Landing was set up with a vision to enable students from all nations to have the opportunity to pursue higher education in the United States, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria & Russia. Our objective is to build a strong network of associate partners, who realize the same dream and derive satisfaction by learning and from helping young scholars to make their dream come true.

This will happen when we take the partnerships we form with Associate Partners seriously. Our commitment to our associates is and will be the foundation of our success! It could also be the basis of your success as an Campus Landing Associate Partner

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

The most difficult part has been popularising it. We have still not been able to do so. And, there are lot many ideas that we would like to implement but don't do as we are not a popular site.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The easiest part is that it enhances the reputation of the business.

What was your biggest mistake?

The biggest mistake was hiring a novice web designer and wasting money on him for 6 months.

Who maintains your website and why?

My friend and who is trying to help me out.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

Yes, when we advertise in newspapers, students and parents visit the website and shoot some queries occassionally.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I'm positive about the e commerce and future of the internet. it will grow tremendously in the years to come.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Those who will be able to optimize their site will prevail.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

For our website, since it has not been optimized, I can say search engines have not played any role. But, yes if it is optimized and figure on the search list of users, we 'll benefit.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We haven't promoted the website yet. Free classified listings have not helped much.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Until now, all in vain.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

I would like to see more penetration of internet in the rural areas.

Did you like answering this questionnaire and why?

When I scrolled the length of the questionnaire, I thought not to fill up but somehow I started and while answering I could realise and introspect on my business.
