AdvocateKhoj is a "communication platform" to link consumers requiring legal help and expert advocates. This is specifically tailored to the Indian market. We started working on this concept nearly 2 years ago - since we are dealing with the law industry in India, a lot of research had to be done for example; how the lawyers worked, how fast the consumers are adopting internet for day to day answers etc. Our model is free for any consumer who wants to post a case. This is because, our primary goal is to bring forth technology solutions to better everyones life. Advocates who want to be the member of AdvocateKhoj have to pay a subscription fee. Currently, there is no fool proof way to determine the "good standing" of an advocate in India. With the launch of AdvocateKhoj and with the help of local Bar Association we are dreaming of bringing such concepts that can be of use to consumers, thereby helping consumers make an informed decision on which advocate to hire for their legal needs.

AdvocatKhoj uses the latest technology available in hardware, software, security and programming practices. All data communications in sensitive areas of AdvocateKhoj is via SSL.

Our business model is very simple. Free, Easy and Confidential for Consumers. Our goal is to bring technology solutions to better the everyday life of people. Advocates who want to be members of AdvocateKhoj have to pay a small subscription fees.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

When working on AdvocateKhoj, we were not only dealing with technology challenges, but also cultural and regional challenges. What I mean by this is, every country is unique in its culture. Just because a solution is successful in country X doesn't mean it would be successful in country Y. Immense amount of research was put to study Indian consumers, what they thought about advocates, how they want to approach advocates etc. We are constantly refining our website and software to cater more to the consumers need as we go on understanding how consumers in India work.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Website Operations are not easy. We constantly stumble upon new problems but we are happy to say that we find solutions and keep the ball rolling.

"Biggest"....none for the moment.
