we launched Hamarijodi.com on 14Jan 2005
How did you decide on a name for your website?
As it's an Indian matrimonial site, we decided Hamarijodi
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Peopel can upgrade for a month, send Gifts and make & match horoscope
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
If we get a good price, we'll sell it
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
it uses lots of my time, I keep busy myself with my site. Money I don't have much.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'd like to advertise my site on tv, media, newspapaers everywhere. I would like to employ a good programmer & good sales persons
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, Sure. Why not
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Sometimes programmers are not able to cope, want a good sales person too

linking & advertising on other sites even if it is free advertising, email campaigns
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I've to work hard, 24 hours of thinking how to promote our site
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
we are running it from 14th Jan 2005 & will run if it is successful
