When did you start your website and why?
I started my website indiaoye.com in Sept 2004 with the aim of providing some entertainment to my site visitors as well as providing a platform to the young generation to showcase their talent by putting their profiles as artist or a model on my site
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
The most difficult part I will say is to drive traffic to the website although currently I can manage to have a decent number of visitors to my site and I am doing well with it but in the begining It was not as easy it seems today It requires a lot of effort and regular updates and good content to run a website
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
I felt easy to design my website and I do change my look and feel of website quit often say 4 to 5 times in a year
What was your biggest mistake?
My biggest mistake was the lack of technical knowledge regarding hosting of websites when I begin my journey in the world of internet in the year 2000 because of that ignorance only I lost one of my profit making website which I have ran for a period of 2 years and need to closed it in 2004

I maintain my website individualy the reason is that I love my work and I have a passion for website designing and surfing on the net

I am doing share consulting work and due to my website I got many clients in my country who are looking for my service without the help of my website I am running I need to do lots of advertising which needs lots of money too but with the help of my website I do it easily and economicaly
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
As per my view within next three to five years ecommerce will become the essential part of the society and internet is immortal now

It is an essential part for the development of any website wants to grow stronger with good number of visitors and ranking

Search engines are very useful for small websites, quality search engines help websites to grow
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search Engine Submission, Placing our websites on quality classified sites, start discussions about your site on forums who allows, emailing to friends and relatives, the most important if you have the content you will get the visitors by a spread of word only
